PLANNED GIVING

A planned gift is any major gift made during your lifetime, or upon your death, as part of your overall financial and/or estate planning. It is a way to support Roots & Roads Community Hospice Foundation that enables anyone the ability to make a significant impact. Planned gifts can be leveraged and come from a variety of assets including:
Bequest: A provision in a will that allows Roots & Roads to receive a gift upon death.
Life Insurance: Name Roots & Roads as a beneficiary in a life insurance payout.
Charitable Remainder Trust: Assets are transferred to a trust, and earnings are paid as income to beneficiaries. Upon death of the last beneficiary, the principal becomes a gift made to Roots & Roads.
Charitable Lead Trust: A selected period of time that assets of a trust will benefit Roots & Roads. When the trust terminates, the principal goes to your named beneficiaries.
Roots & Roads Community Hospice Foundation holds an endowment fund at the Jewish Community Foundation. The endowment is a fund of restricted money that provides Roots & Roads ongoing support on the earnings of the investment.
